My story...

I have two little boys.

Little boys are super-cute.

Most of the time, their clothing options are not.

I decided that the gaping hole in this market needed to be filled. So my parents helped me buy a machine, and I am now obsessed with making anything I can. I'm having fun, I'm creating things, and I'm Thread Serious.

Gameday attire, pillows, and fall...

I've been working on some pillows.  I'll sell these as just the pillow case, so you'll have to provide the pillow form--you can usually pick those up at Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, etc.  I'll make this in the standard 18x18, but if you already have a  pillow on hand that you'd like to recover, I can change the size.

$30
These are piped in maroon with an envelope closure for easy washing.  I can also do these in "Keep Calm & Hotty Toddy" with red or navy piping.

"Mr. and Mrs." pillow

I plan on making these on the a cream (pictured above in the "Hail State" pillow.)  I used this leftover material to match some things in my kitchen.  If you have a particular color or look in mind, I can work with you for extra cost.  Again, these have an envelope closure, and can be made in standard sizes  It is hard to see in the picture, but it has "Mr. & Mrs". with the est. date.  The "&" is appliqued.

Vanna White showcasing the pillows...

"Shabby Mississippi" pillow and "Address" pillow

Again, I used fabric I had on hand for some outdoor pillows.  The "Shabby Mississippi" pillow features an applique that will purposefully fray on the edges. (Hence, the shabby.)  I can also add an embroidered star if you would like to identify a particular town.  You can't see it, but I added one on Jackson. These will also be on a cream, with your choice of applique fabric.  I can work with you on that.

The address pillow is, well, your address.  Both are envelope closures in the standard 18x18.

"Shabby Mississippi"  $25
(add piping $30)
"Address" pillow
$25-30 depending on stitch count
If you'd like to pick out your own fabrics and ship them to me, we can figure that out, too!

One new example...

This is a stitched out example of the "Nate" romper.  You can see the girl counterpart, the "Natalie," under the patterns link.  I made this one for Alex to wear during football season. It's a little big on him now, he is 19 months, but I made a 2T so that he would have plenty of room.  I can do this in any fabric.  This particular example is $45.  I can always switch up material for any team--It would be cute in blue gingham with red gingham tabs, for Ole Miss, you can add a monogram, etc.  Anyway, my model didn't stay very still for me, and my camera fogged up at first, so I must ask you again to ignore my poor photography.

You may not be able to see it very well, but the main fabric is a very narrow maroon and white chevron.

I have a new applique for the state of Mississippi, and I'm working on some pillows.  Be on the lookout for those!

Getting ready for fall orders...

As crazy as it sounds, football season is just around the corner.  Make sure to go through the applique folders and search for anything you'd like.  Of course, I have plenty of MSU things, but I also have paw prints that can be used for LSU or Auburn, and I even have an elephant that can be used for Alabama.  For Ole Miss, ANY of the patches can be used, or I can embroider "Rebels" on anything.  There is also a grove applique available.

I have plain white bloomers in several sizes that can be monogrammed with something on the bottom.

Material-wise I several ginghams--red, navy, blue, orange, green, black, and maroon.  I have quite a few chevrons, also.  Some of them are a bigger size--about 3/4 " in width, and I have some others that are less obvious--much thinner white on a colored background.  I'll beginning working on things for my own boys, and starting on some samples for girls.  I've also got a few things that I'm testing for myself for football season.

As for patterns, there are shorts, elastic skirts, jumpers, swing tops, jon-jons, bubbles, ruffle bubbles, etc.  If there's anything else you're interested in, just shoot me an email.

I can also monogram polo tops with initials, a paw print, or a cowbell.

Again, I apologize for my lack of photography prowess.

Boys' summer things...

My oldest will be 5 in May, so I'm trying to find some ways to have more "big boy" things without completely throwing in the towel.  I've found these cutre "Ringer tees" which I think are a great option for something a little different.  These come in boys' sizes--S, M, L, & XL, and I'm offering them in red and navy.

For just the tshirt with initials, they're $16.  If you'd like to do an applique, they will be $20.  I think simpler appliques will look best with these.  For an idea on sizing, I got a small for Sam, and he is a tall almost-5-year-old.

You can do the straight across monogram or a stacked style.  I haven't tried a diamond style yet, but I'm sure it would be cute.

Another option for the bigger boys--monogrammed cargo shorts.  These have a single pocket on the front leg, but I can also do a pocket on the side.  These are $20.

And some examples of appliques I've been working on.  Remember, I can change the materials and colors on any of the appliques.

Toolbelt--$18

Canoe--$15

Baseball diamond with monogram--$18

Monogrammed sunhat for babies--$15

And lastly, I'm not ready to offer this for sale, but just to give you and idea of some things that can be done for the older ones, I'm working on this pattern--a short-sleeved-patterned shirt with monogram.

Close-up of pocket

And I made Alex a "Taylor bubble" to match!

I haven't forgotten the girls! I'm about to start working on some things for them.

Thanks for stopping by!
